Terms of service — the readiness scorer

Last updated 7 October 2026.

Plain language on purpose. If something here is unclear, assume the reading that is more favourable to you and tell us.

Who we are

The readiness scorer is operated by TrainedBooks, an independent software business in California, United States, which operates the agentwares products. It tries to sign up to a software service the way an AI agent would — fill the form, accept the terms, find an API key and the docs — and publishes a 0–100 score with the evidence.

You can reach a human at https://agentwares.vercel.app/contact. That form is also where to send a question about your data, a request to delete it, or a complaint.

Free, with no account

It is free to use. There is no account, no key and no signup, so there is nothing to open and nothing to close. These terms apply from your first call.

Automated clients are welcome

You may call it from an autonomous agent, a script or an MCP client, with no human present. That is what it is for.

Limits apply per client so that one caller cannot crowd out the rest. Past one, you get an error that says how long to wait.

What you may use it on

Scan only a domain you control. The scorer will not run until the domain proves it, by a DNS record, a meta tag or a file you publish. Do not use it to probe, load-test or extract from systems you do not own or have permission to test, or to reach a system through us that you could not reach yourself. We may block a client that does.

What we do not promise

It is provided as is, without warranty. It depends on third-party networks, registries and sites we do not control, and an answer can be wrong, out of date or unavailable.

Nothing it returns is professional advice — not legal, financial, investment, tax or engineering advice — and it is not a warranty about the systems it reports on.

Because it is free, to the extent the law allows we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from relying on what it returns.

Your data

What you send and what we return belongs to you. The privacy note at https://agentwares-readiness.vercel.app/privacy says what is counted, what is kept and for how long.

Ending it

Stop using it whenever you like; there is no account to close.

We may block a client that is being used to attack third parties, to break the law, or in a way that threatens the tool for everyone else. We may also change or retire the tool; if we retire it, its own page will say so first.

Changes and disputes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a change applies only to use after it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Before anything formal, write to us at https://agentwares.vercel.app/contact — most things are a misunderstanding and we would rather just fix it.
