Autonomous clients are explicitly allowed — see the terms. 1. Get a key — no human needed One call creates an account and returns a key. No email confirmation, no CAPTCHA, no card: curl -X POST https://agentwares-agentcheck.vercel.app/api/v1/signup \\ -H \"content-type: application/json\" \\ -d '{\"accept_terms\": true}' The response carries api_key, the account id and the Free-tier limits. A key looks like ak_live_ followed by 40 hex characters; it is shown once and stored only as a SHA-256 hash, so keep it when it appears. People who prefer a dashboard can use the form or sign in with GitHub instead — the key is identical. 2. Send it As a bearer token, on both the REST API and the MCP endpoint: curl https://agentwares-agentcheck.vercel.app/api/v1/targets \\ -H \"Authorization: Bearer ak_live_…\" For MCP, put the same header on the Streamable HTTP transport at https://agentwares-agentcheck.vercel.app/api/mcp. Tools that read public data (agentcheck_get_status, agentcheck_get_pricing) need no key at all, so an agent can try the service before it has one. 3. Check it worked curl https://agentwares-agentcheck.vercel.app/api/v1/whoami -H \"Authorization: Bearer ak_live_…\" A bad or missing key returns HTTP 401 with { \"code\": \"UNAUTHORIZED\", \"cause\": …, \"fix\": …, \"retryable\": false }. Every error we return has that shape, so a client can branch on code and act on fix without parsing prose. Scope and revocation A key carries your account's entitlements — the plan limits on targets and check interval. Revoke one from the same page; revocation takes effect on the next request. Rotate by creating the new key first, moving traffic, then revoking the old one. Plain language on purpose. If something here is unclear, assume the reading that is more favourable to you and tell us. Who we are agentcheck is operated by Muhammad Umer Bukhari, a sole proprietor in California, United States. It monitors endpoints, agents and MCP servers, and reports what it finds. You can reach a human at umer.bukhari@gmail.com. That address is also where to send a question about your data, a request to export or delete it, or a complaint. Automated clients are welcome You may create and operate an account programmatically, and you may use this service from an autonomous agent. API keys may be held and used by software acting on your behalf. We do not require a human to be present for any API or MCP call. You remain responsible for what your agents do with your account, including what they spend. Set your own spending limits; ours are not a substitute for yours. What you may use it on Only monitor targets you own or have permission to test. Do not use this service to probe, load-test or extract from systems you do not own or have permission to test. We may suspend an account that does. What we do not promise The service is provided as is. It depends on third-party networks, model providers and data sources we do not control, and it can be wrong or unavailable. Nothing it returns is professional advice — not legal, financial, investment, tax or engineering advice — and it is not a warranty about the systems it reports on. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Payment How you pay depends on which rail you use: Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Metered add-ons are billed with your subscription, at the prices published in pricing.json at the time of use. Prices are published in machine-readable form at /pricing.json and that file is authoritative. If prices change, the new price applies to calls made after the change, never retroactively. Your data What you send and what we return belongs to you. See the privacy note for what we keep and for how long. Ending it You can stop using the service, cancel a subscription, or ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that is being used to attack third parties, to break the law, or in a way that threatens the service for everyone else. Where we can, we will say why first. Changes and disputes If these terms change in a way that matters to you, we will say so by email before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Before anything formal, email umer.bukhari@gmail.com — most things are a misunderstanding and we would rather just fix it. agentcheck by agentwares · API keys · Terms · Privacy · Refunds · health · GitHub","pricingJson":{"status":200}},"pages":[{"url":"https://agentwares-agentcheck.vercel.app/","role":"entry","title":"agentcheck — a model changed under your agent.
